Victoria Sponge Cake, with Strawberries and Swiss Meringue Buttercream

It's been a while since we've done anything cake like, but recently Hayley and I went through one of those moments where you need to compromise. The cake didn't out the way we wanted - but we still made something delicious!





The cake is a Victoria Sponge, sandwiched with Swiss Meringue Buttercream (I was so excited that it worked out so well!) and decorated with strawberries and icing sugar.

An awesome compromise that still tasted amazing!
